Question Pre-Purchase questions

I already have an appointment with a salesperson at Acura of Valley Stream, here in New York, for this Friday to see if we can work a deal on a 2006 TL with Nav, bodykit and woodtrim. How much should I expect to pay for that car? Also, about how much would the interest be if I finance it though them? My FICO is at around 709 right now. Thanks guys!

acura's best rate is 5.69% from 12-66 months and 6.69% for 72. Check your local credit union for much better rates. But make sure there is no application fee because a lower rate might not be lower once you add in the cost of the fee's

wow!! I can get a better rate through Capital One! Thanks BayshoreAcura!!! I'll just go and see what the best deal they have to offer me is, then just arrange financing on my own.

I live in PA, so the cost should be about the same since we're technically in the same region (so-to-speak). I'm not an expert, but if I were to "guesstimate" what it would be according to what I just paid for everything you're asking except the body kit....I just paid $35,600 (+TTT) for my car last week; and if I recall correctly the A-SPEC kit is about $6000 MORE?? Which is exactly why I didn't get it.

I also was just financed by Honda (a repeat customer) and I was 7%.............??

Good luck to you!

Thanks KJW73!
I was referring to the kit that you can add to your car when you go to the "Build & Price" on the Acura website, the front, rear and side underbody spoilers, plus the deck lid spoiler. Total for those parts on the website is $1472. I see we like the same color too!

Oops! Sorry about the misunderstanding...

Hmmmm....I don't believe that I've actually saw those on the TL; but that's not a bad price! If you get the car, you'll definitely have to post pics.

BTW - I test drove the Nighthawk Black Pearl w/ navi (automatic) and I was in love, love, love with the color scheme (it was w/ camel leather). But...I wanted a 2005 leftover so I only had two with navi to choose from and unfortunately, that wasn't one of the colors. I wasn't too keen on the idea of a white car either until I saw it in the sunlight...it is beautiful paint; I've received several compliments from co-workers who see that my silver Accord is no longer parked in my parking garage space...the white really sticks out. Also didn't want a white car because my b/f also drives a white car....so now we have two of them parked in our driveway...LOL.

Good luck to you!!

Thanks Jay!
I'll probably go to Hillside Acura before I go to Valley Stream. Now I might just get the TL with Nav and forget about the other options, I can always add them later if I want. I just saw them on the Honda eStore and a couple of other part sites, cheaper. The woodtrim kit, I already found another that has more pieces.
I'll let you guys know what happens this weekend, thanks for all your help though, I really appreciate it!

Derek is a great guy. Didn't buy mine from him due to other reasons none having to do with him (or the dealership). He worked hard for me and and was doing right by me. I feel bad I didn't get it from him.

I'd sell you a 06 TL nav for $33,940 +++ being that this is the internet.
