Pre-Order/deposit prices
Pre-Order/deposit prices
I'm just wondering what other people paid for their pre-order or deposit prices... I'm trying to see if I can get about a thousand off MSRP, and wondering if anyone was able to manage more than that when dealing for a car that was to come in in about a month or so..... Thanks a bunch!
$500 off NAVIs and as much as $1600 off non-NAVI's
Most anyone is getting off the non-NAVI's appears to be around $1,600. The most I've seen off NAVI versions is $500-$600. My NAVI was $400 + the HPT tire upgrade (for free) + a 2 year service agreement (est total discount value $600-$700)
I just got 1200 off of MSRP for a Nav. You can expect higher discounts off of non-nav, so depends on what you want. Also, the discount you are able to negotiate will also depend on what part of the country you are in.
Prices
Yesterday I bought a 6MT, NAVI, Black/black, with spoiler for 35,250 after taxes, tag, and everything. Based on taxes in my area, that would put the price before tax at approximately 32,800 (including destination and new tag). MSRP shows 36,100 with the spoiler, so I'm thinking I got a pretty good deal.
I dealt directly with the sales manager and internet guy...but they were very direct about wanting high marks on the survey. They didn't waste my time, and that alone is worth the 5's. Unfortunately that hasn't always been my experience with this particular dealership.
I wanted an anthracite, and he would've gotten it for me, but this deal had a lot to do with taking the one he had on the lot. I would say probably $1,000 better.
I was a great experience for a change!

I took delivery of a Auto/Navi, Backup Sensors, Trunk Mat, Wheel Locks, Anthracite/Ebony on Dec 19 in Dallas. Got it for $34,395 at Vandergriff in Arlington. I dealt with the Internet folks and the manager to get it done.
They had to "Hot Shot" the vehicle from Overland Park Kansas to get color/Auto/Navi. But we got the deal done before year end which seemed to be their motivation.
Still getting VERY POSTIVE comments everyday from people that see it.

For those in the NYC/Long Island area,
Best price I've gotten so far is 31500/33500 without/with NAVI. Rallye Acura in Roslyn - Rose Reinhardt @ rreinhardt@rallyeacura.com. She's the internet manager and, if you want, you can do all the details by email/phone until you pick up the car. Plus, 10% off add-ons.
They probably have the best service department in the entire NY area too. Tell her Conan sent you.

I just ordered a 5-speed Automatic w/Nav in Anthracite/Ebony for $33,075 + destination & taxes in Long Island City, NY. I expect delivery in a month, and left a $500 deposit. I put the deposit on my credit card in case I have any problems, but I have to say this was a really nice buying experience. There was no pressure to buy any options or extended warranty. The salesman was very knowledgable about the car, let me and my son drive around as long as we wanted to (man, I never wanted to get out of that car!) and gave me a good trade-in on my Accord.
