Power steering leakage

Hello
Seeing a power steering leakage, with whining and very hard turning at cold temps. Is this just the oring or could this be something else? Pics are attached...this is a 2008 Acura TL type S

by replacing one, cleaning and observing.

if you haven't purchased a PS pump yet and still have a problem and don't want to (or having a problem sourcing the parts) rebuild the pump. Get a 06 Acura RL PS pump, they are a direct fit and made better than the 3G TL

How exactly did you come to that assessment? I see you replaced yours at 398K miles. That's not exactly a premature life-span

The upper hose o-ring has been leaking for a long time by the residue. Change that and the lower one but chances are the pump may have ran dry and will be toast. A rebuild won't help if the vanes are worn (Rebuild = new seals + bearings). I had that happen in my 07 TLS and bought an aftermarket ebay pump.
