Hello TL members.

My boss has an 04 TL that is leaking power steering fluid. I was wondering if someone with access to the helms manual would scan the pages with the diagrams so we can check all the lines. Thank you in advance. You can reach me at Denver.Shearon@kimley-horn.com.


FYI, he had the recall done on the lines last friday, we just wanted to check the connections as it sounds like they missed something.

 

If it just had the recall done take it back.

He will if he has to we just wanted to see if a fitting was left un-tightened or something so he doesnt have to go through all the trouble of dropping it back off.

 

that's funny, same thing happened to me, recall performed last week now it's leaking something, which i'm sure is PS fluid. maybe they spilled it?

 

Maybe they broke the fitting trying to fix it
Back to the shop immedialty- tell them to send the tow truck (warranty)
The tech should be wiping up any mess they make, not leave a drip for the driveway

 

the rack prob blew.... it kept blowing on mine with a new pump and the rack had corrosion probs.... from honda.....they finally put a new 08 type s rack in...after my 4th rack....now theres no probs

 

He took it in this morning. They are claiming it was residual
