I am installing interior lighting. I need a 12 volt power source. Where can I draw from. Can I draw from my line going to my amplifier? If I draw from the center console ciggarette lighter HOW DO I GET DOWN THERE? Thanks guys.

theres a whole fuse box down there you can tap into if you want.

what kinda lighting and how many there and plus general locations would help us figure out where to lead you

just take one fuse out and stick a wire in there then stick the fuse back into it but dont push too hard as the fuse will stick out a bit because of the wire.

Use the window fuse so that the lights will stay on till you open the door when exiting the car. Plus when you open the windows via remote it will turn them on too.

Look up on the install of a hardwired V1 radar for some pictures.

Or use a mini add-a-circuit from AutoZone.

Fuse location #32 is popular for 12V switched, meaning that it will only have power when the car is on.

Good luck!

MUCH better suggestion!! But you are limited to 10 amps with that circuit...both the added side and the circuit you tap since the add a circuit now supplies the fuse for the circuit you tapped into. So if you use a circuit that has a fuse greater than 10 amps in it, you're playing with fire...literally.
