Only 2 days old...
So, still breaking in the engine and getting smoother on the shifts. 2 commutes in MD on Route 270 South from Frederick to Bethesda. My average today was 23 MPG.....I think that this is excellent considering only 2 days old...already better than my old piece of %@#& 300M!! Can't wait to see it increase over time

I think you should frame this because people will post alot of different results.
Post your mpg, and mph and distance travelled that's displayed in the MID.
mpg 21
mph 33
distance 700

I have not driven a real road trip yet. I drive, round trip, 47 miles to work, half is residental and the other is Interstate 66. By the way, I don't have much traffic on 66 as I'm on it at 4:30 in the morning...going against traffic. Everytime I check it I get 24 mpg. Not quiet as good as my CL.

Drove back to FL from VA today:
MPG: 30-31 at a steady 74-78 the entire trip
MPH: 72 (avg)
City:
MPG: 14-18
MPH: Doesn't matter, city MPG is poor

I can't really comment on "city" mileage due to my vehicle use always being 80% highway comute...
I know how to accurately and consistently calculate my mileage so feel any additional "MID" data is errelivent.... Nor due I use the MID for my computations though the "average mpg" reading is usually within 1mpg when reset properly etc.
Overall, as mentioned above 80% highway / 20% city "consistently".
With AC (summer months)
26-28 mpg
Colder months (AC predominantly off)
28-30 mpg
100% highway during previous long range road trips (AC used ~ 50%)
30 mpg average / 32 mpg max.
--Overall mileage stunk until ~5000 miles on vehicle
04 5AT / 14K miles

My TL gets about 17 city, mostly because I can't avoid punching the gas and listening to the beautiful exhaust . On the only highway run I've made i got a 31mpg average.

'05 5AT with about 5K miles
I also drive mostly in the city (suburbs) and road permitting I do drive spiritedly
MPG: 16-18 before first oil change (let it go down to less than 5% oil life)
18-20 after first oil change (suspect it will improve since getting cooler and can drive without the a/c on with the windows open - which it turn does also affect mileage but only at higway speeds)

I've got an '05 AT. My combined mileage is usually 18 or 19 mpg. Most of my miles are freeway miles but the freeways here are stop and go so that's kind of misleading.

Over the last 1100 miles I have averaged about 22 mpg. I would say 70% interstate, 30% city w/ an average speed of 45 mph. Man the city really cuts down average speed, cause my cruise on interstate is usually 80mph.
Usually, If i reset and drive only city it is 16-17. I have a heavy foot off the line. 28 on only freeway.
BTW.... 05' TL 6mt

Gas Mileage
With a 24 mile daily commute, 6 of the 18 miles on the interstate at 75mph, the rest on a busy 4 lane to Carbondale averaging 45 mph @ 23 mpg.
On my flights to Chicago with an avg speed of 75 mph making 28 mpg.
I change my air filter every 10 thousand miles, and try to resist the urge to answer the challenges of Honda Civics with rice wings, and fart cans.

18 MPG overall over 15,000 miles.
My commute is mix of freeway, traffic, city.
I generally drive in manual mode and rev high.
Even on hwy i usually use 4th and 3rd in manual mode for control.
Not really been concerned with conserving gas, but now i guess its a more important consideration.
My last car, a BMW 5 series manual got 17 MPG overall over 40,000 miles.

I haven't broken my individual mileage down (i assume you are all resetting the trip settings?) but due to the gas prices going up, I decided to ease off the gas and to a tank test.
Before testing, my average MPG was 20.1 with 220 miles on the trip meter (thats some 1/2 tank fillups when I saw a good gas price).
I filled up yesterday at $2.959 with 289.0 miles on the trip meter. I tried my best to be easy on the gas and not exceed 70 MPH (that is really hard!). I averaged city/hwy 24.9 MPG. I'd say thats with 50/50 city/highway.
Also I have almost 3200 miles on a 05 AT WDP purchased in mid May.
Lovin' the TL!

I'm currently getting 27 MPG on my TL. The best I've gotten was 28. I drive mostly on freeways at 75 MPH with periodic stop-n-go traffic (damn the 405). When I'm on city streets, I'll average about 22 MPG.
