Is it possible to disable the warning chime that sounds when the key is left in the ignition switch? It is soooo annoying. I know most MB and even a Chrysler van allow you to disable the chime by partially removing and then reinserting the key. I'm willing to endure the risk of leaving the key in the switch - I usually park in a locked garage or lock the car with the key or keyfob. I would like to allow the headlight warning chime to continue - even though the lights are auto-off.
Any ideas are appreciated.
