Im going to be purchasing a TL pretty soon actually going to look at an 06 on sat. could someone point me to comparison pics for a-spec and non a-spec. I found a few pics but would like some detailed before and after pics Im looking at 05-07 models.

 

Just google it and there should be a million picks of both the base and a-spec kit.

 

i Have googled the p out of it and I find one pic says aspec that looks just like the pic i found that says std option. maybe im just blind I am kinda old. I will keep looking around i thought some one might have a before and after mod they did

jesstzn, your car looks awsome those rims look awsome... what rims are those? (sorry, im noob in this department)

 

Rims are Axis Shine ... 19 x 8.5 with a 35 offset. Car is dropped on Comptech springs ..

 

Ok i am blind i see all the differences now guess the angles I had been seeing just were not doing it justice. The car looks great. Now I have another question if i purchase a car with out the a-spec kit would I not have an issue with the 5-6 yr old paint not matching a new kit paint? how are people resolving this issue?

 

Mine was 4 years old when I put it on and no issues that way ,... mind you mine is well kept and all you might need to have done is the car polished out to remove any oxidation which would be the fading if any.

 

Jesstzn, Hmm. I have 2008 TL and now that I see pics of your aspec I am thinking mine came with them. I will have take a real close look since the difference is not that extreme. My rear is just like yours for sure. sides and front still to be determined. Thanks for the photos.

The front and back are most noticeable. The aspec sideskirts replace the existing ones so they won't stick out as much.

paperboy, I do not see the humor. I did buy used. Previous owner leased it. I have looked at many pics to determine if I have A-spec but too misleading. Also some one as myself not knowing this is not something to laugh at. I will school you on fighter jet mechanics if you want to compare knowledge. Everyone has different interests and knowledge. Hence the creation of these threads.

 

no offense intended on my original statement but dont take that attitude with me, you think you're the only engineer on this forum? i dont know you so i wasnt like "oo haha you dont know anything about the aspec lip kit" so i felt my original post was very justified. lol doesnt mean what you think it means. a lot of ppl just type lol at the beginning or end of a phrase for the heck of it. you might know more about fighter jet mechanics, but guess what? i really dont care. im currently a mechanical engineer in college, so like i said, dont think you're the only engineer here. take your attitude elsewhere.
