Its got a few little blemishes here and there, tiny chips, few scuffs, the drivers seat leather is pretty worn. But overall I couldnt be happier.

Only 58,000 miles though.
Ended up paying $19,500 before tax and other bullshit, plus we went with a three year bumper to bumper warrantee, which in my experience and humble opinion is so effing worth every penny.

I have a few questions too that popped into my head as I'm typing this.
Few things based on my last few... "spirited" drives I will definietly do a few searches on the forums as I am SURE these have been brought up, but since we are all here I figured why not ask!

-I feel the transmission downshifting through the gears as I break from say 40mph to 0. It feels pretty normal but was just curious if this is just a characteristic of the TL-S. The feeling reminds me of engine braking with the paddle shifters, only im not.

-Had a super quick "squeak squeak squeak" at idel after the cold start this morning.

-Hearing a faint squeak coming from the front drivers side suspension, almost impossible to hear or reproduce, but its there. Mainly going 0-5 mphs up my busted ass circa 1908 driveway.

I can answer most of your question.

1. That shifting you described is normal, its called "grade logic shift" basically its mimic the way you drive MT and trying to make the car sporty. I found this feature is good in some case (spirit driving) and other time it just pure annoying (like going down hill and the car won't shift into next gear until your car hit flat ground then boom into 4th).

2. Squeak sound you describe could be the serpentine belt and/or tensioner starting to goes bad you can check this by remove the drive belt and see the sound still occur if no sound then the culprit is them. If the sound still there then there is a good chance of your timing belt tensioner goes bad (this is common on the TL).

3. Suspension sound you heard is normal if you just hop on the car and drive.

BTW what is that is your passenger front bumper? a sticker or scratch? you got the wrong color combo lol. WDP with Taupe

Cool thanks man, appreciate the info! Wrong color combo?

And after worrying about that photo of the bumper "scratch" all day at work, I find out it was a piece of crap on my camera lens...
