PLEASE help NOW!! I'm stuck!

Ok - So I installed a Fujita CAI today in my garage (car is half in the garage and its 30 degrees out and dropping). Everything went fine. Went to start the car (removed red terminal on battery during install) and car wont do ANYTHING. I have power, and the navi is asking for the unlock code. I cant find ANYTHING in my paperwork on the car that gives it and I bought it used 2 weeks back. Of course dealership is closed for the night. Anyhow when I turn the key the car wont do anything. Doesnt even start to turn over. ANY CLUE AT ALL? Is the navi lock at all related to an ignition kill by chance? Why won't my car start? It doesn't even attempt to..... As if electronics are prohibiting it from doing so...

PLEASE HELP!

check both battery cables. My positive cable end came loose during my CAI install, it was on the battery but loose enought to lose contact.

ONLY thing I can think of (that might make sense) is that when I installed the intake, I moved a set of grounding wires about 3" to another hole on the metal plate they were on to then install the dampening bolt for the intake tube. Not sure WHY that would matter though since as long as they are attached to metal they are grounded.... ANY INPUT would be wonderful before I lose my mind.

Check inside of the glove box door for two white stickers with the radio and navi codes. Hopefully the previous owner left them there.

So your starter isn't turning over the engine at all? Any clicks? Turn your headlights on and honk your horn, does it sound noticeably weak? If it does then your battery may be almost dead.
Did you disconnect or loosen any wires from the (under the hood fuse box)? If so then double check their connections. There are two thick wires that connect to one end of the fuse box. One of them goes to the starter. If you did disconnect these two wires, make sure you didn't swap their location puting it back together.

Check the connections at the starter solenoid which is below your battery. Also check fuse 22 and 23 in the under the hood fuse box. Look inside the fuse box cover for a diagram with the location of the fuses. These are large fuses held in place by screws. You need to disconnect the battery again before trying to remove these fuses. (120 amp and 50amp) That's a lot of juice.

Also check that ground that you mentioned earlier. It may not be grounded well if it was attached to a painted surface. The battery is grounded to a body panel in the engine compartment and there is another ground cable under the stock air filter which gounds the body to the engine. Check that one too.

These are just some suggestions.

Can't help you with the starter, but I know that the car's navigation and radio will automatically lock-out if the battery is tampered with. This is obviously to prevent theft / misuse of the navi and radio. The codes (if the previous owner provided you with them) should be in the black leather-bound Acura book that carries the manuals.

UPDATE -- So yea.. The O2 sensor musta come unclicked I snapped that back in and the car started up just fine. THEN turned it off WHILE the navi was loading (stupid me - it says don't turn off the engine during loading) and it wont turn on again Let it sit with the battery disconnected for a bit and reattached it and now things seem to be fine. HOPEFULLY that second issue with it not restarting was beacuse of the navi being interrupted during loadup and nothing else!

Just a reminder to those disconnecting the battery- know the radio code first- it will lock out the security system for the car!

Also the RED is the Positive terminal and should only be disconnected after the neg cable is removed
- you should disconnect the BLACK Negative terminal first when working on electronincs or installing the CAI
Make sure you have the CARB legal sticker for the cai or trouble will follow you

Thanks for the input - As long as I get the unlock code (security-wise) I'm fine correct?
