he pulled up to me once i got off the hwy on my way to school. nice looking car. we played a little in the twisties and once we had the straight away we both gunned. we werent goin rediculously fast. prolly went from 30-80ish. i stayed with him but i know he would have eventually pulled hard. he ended up parkin next to me at school so we talked for a bit on the way to class. Hes was pretty suprised i stayed with him.

dont get me wrong here i know for a fact a 1/4 mile race he would beat me if he can drive. it was jus the twisties and the straight away that allowed me to stay with him. i was defi takin the corners better than he was

 

Nice...I've yet to see one in real life. I've just seen pics and I am not sure if I like it or not. I love when the TL surprises people though. When I went to my last dyno day, everyone was surprised that a 3.2L luxury sedan put out 242 whp. Everyone else had modded Mustangs and a couple Corvettes.

 

Damn, some rich kids go to CCSU, there is nothing like that a SCSU, just a bunch of Civics and stuff, although I've seen two Evos and one white SRT-4.

 

suprisingly theres a good amount of nice cars at ccsu, nothin rediculous but theres alot of $30k+ cars in any lot any time of the day

 

My college doesnt even have parking and the highway to college is so crowded in morning i take the subway

Yeah, I went to SCSU for a year before I joined the Navy...definitely no rich kids there. The Evo is about the nicest car off that list. I personally can't stand the SRT-4

the handeling should be better on the G ....maybe the guy didn't know how to drive that good.

Adrian and Raced the other day....his G35 stock and mine with all the bolt on.....his car is fast...it pulls really hard....we both start off head to head then when he hits about 3rd he pulls away.....can't seems to catch up.

imagine when he starts to work on the engine...lol

one day i went up against and M3....i stood no chance....that thing took off like a bullet prob next year that will be my next ride

It depends on the confidence of the driver, I bet my TL could go a lot more than I let it go, but I'm always worried.

 

Yeah, when I saw SCSU in your post, I was wondering what it stood for, then I noticed you were from CT. It seems I drive kinda like you too. I think I can push my car a lot more than I do, I'm just worried about wrecking it or breaking something. That's mostly around turns though. In a straight line...it's game on.

 

.. i dont get it.. G37 is 330hp stock.. TL-S is 260 with ur mods maybe u got 300.. and the G37 has 4wheel active steering and rwd so he should be eating the corners. Good kill tho.. I raced modded TL-S in my G35 and i beat it.. I think the driver has alot to do with the race also.. not tryin to down play u or aything.. jus a little confused. ur car is like beatin everything..lol.. good kill none the less.. ohh.. i think I might be comin to the CT show u posted, jus to chill tho. my car isnt modded, i jus wanna go for the drive

 

welll both of us had our traction control on and the groud was a little slick...and don't forget the cops was waiting for us at the end of francis lewis but yup the G pulled hard and the G was stock!!

Well the 4WS system didn't help the handling much on the G. The system in the R32-R34 GTR was good, but the magic just doesn't work with the G37 except for adding extra weight. Then consider his TL has some suspension mods, plus might be S1CK TypeS has more guts, while the G37 driver didn't wanna crash his new car....then really, anything is possible..

 

i think the AWS system is an option on the g37 which means he probably didn't have it. everyone who knows what it is beforehand usually declines it as an option and those who don't are the ones that just get the car completely loaded.

 

nahh not like that.. we were on our way home and thats the road we gotta take.. started out on union and then we did more on francis lewis, not all lined up with a crowd like the civic days..LOL..

I used to be there on the weekends in my civic tho haha
