Planning a trip to Canada

I am planning a drive from NYC to Mont Tremblant, Canada, then to Montreal.
Mont Tremblant Nov 7th to Nov 9th.
Montreal from Nov 9th to Nov 12th.
Back to NYC on Nov 12th.
I have not really done a long drive with my TL, so I am very excited to finally get a chance to stretch it's legs. I have two questions.

1) Can I perform Canadian address searches and get driving instructions from the NAVI of a US TL? I think I read that the Canadian TLs and US TLs have the exact same NAVI DVD Can someone confirm?

2) Although I know that nobody can predict the weather, should I expect large accumulations of snow in these areas of Canada, during the 2nd week of November?

Thanks in Advance

Yes on the NAVI (you could try it out right now if you wanted to) and I doubt it on the snow.

Thanks for your help.
I like my TL a lot, but I would not call the TL a good winter-weather car. Just my opinion.

You *might* see some snow around Tremblant in the frist week of November but it's unlikely and if there is snow it shouldn't be much - the TL should be able to handle it no problem . As far as not being a good winter-weather car, I haven't had experience with this yet, however, I plan on putting on some steelies and winter tires as I have most of my cars to get the best drive possible in the winter. Perhaps this could be an option for you? In any case, enjoy your trip !!!

Hey last New Year I drove my TL from NJ to Montreal, then Mont Tremblant and then to Toronto and then back. Had some heavy rain and then blizzard in Canada, held up great. Have a good trip.

It's very doubtful you'll have any kind of snow accumulation to actually have to worry about it. And your Navi will bring you safely into Canada. No worries there!

Yes you can, when I first purchased the car, I went up to Toronto. The navi works there in Canada All you have to do is change from USA to Canada.

Anything outside of Montreal wasn't shown in my NAVI screen. The system didn't have maps for Quebec City; maybe they do with the newer NAVI discs.

I didn't think that Mont Tremblant, Canada info would be on my NAVI disc, but then again, I'm sure it's not a confusing area. I might get the newest disc if this data were on it. I guess I mostly need the Montreal info, to avoid getting too lost.
Thank you all for your input.
