Hi...

I have about 10k miles on my 2006 tl. I did my first service on the acura dealer (sierra acura, Alhambra)... Having the service done at dealership is bit pricey... since I'm not really good at servicing car... (not even change my own oil)... self-maintenance is out of question for me..... so I'm looking for any other alternative...

Does anyone know any good and reputable place in So-Cal to have my 2006 TL serviced and maintained..... any advise...

my bro used to work(mec) at acura calabasas 101 but he have his own shop now at the valley...he work at acura for 3 years...he can do it..if you want just e mail me at ptr_ubs_07@yahoo.com and he can do whatever type of car too..and he also do body paint well just let me know k

That's pretty interesting... but I guess it's too far for me... I'm looking more toward east LA, orange county, san bernardino, or riverside.. thanks tho..

there is a shop in aliso run by Shane who used to work at tustin acura who does an awesome job at great prices. one of the few honest shops. tell him usmaan sent you.

Thanks man... I kept that in mind.... However, the place is about 60 miles from me.... I live in riverside... I don't mind driving about 30-40 miles for it... but this is bit too far...

I had him patch a couple of tires and service two cars (including the TL) recently. He's next door to my office.

Hmm.. interesting... sorry for the noob quesiton... but outside service place wouldn't know what A1 or B1 service is, right... so how should I tell them that needs to be done.. from manual?.. and will they know how to reset the service reminder when it's done...

any other place of recommendation, anyone?

S&S, Honcura and Gilbert are all Honda/Acura specialists; S&S and Honcura only work on Hondas and Acuras, but Darren will work on other imports.

i know what you mean...my bro told me that there a lot of mec out there that event though the part is not even need to be replace they will tell you to replace it...for him he told me that.. be honest to ur costomer and they will come back to you...charge them cheap but still do a good job they well hook you up with costemer...thats his moto
