All the posts about problems and seeking solutions have two possible destinations:

1. They will be moved to a sub-forum where less than 10% people visit, so they die out by themselves.

2. Get flamed by enthusiases like " stop bi*ching and trade in your TL".

If euphomism is the only thing that is allowed to exist on this forum, why not change the name to "Love TL forum", so people at least won't expect different responses to their posts?

I agree to a point.

Anytime there is a thread regarding 'where did they cut corners' or I have rattles, there is some bitching.

The polls and posts here clearly show that most TL owner experience these problems. (Rattles, Dash Fade, Leather issues). For that reason it makes sense to have a sub forum, however the fact that no one reads it leaves this section to bear the brunt.

Frankly it doesnt bother me when these threads come up, and I will continue to give my personal experience.

i kinda agree, everything gets moved, and most of the time, people are telling you to search, has anyone used the search option you get 1 million things that have nothing to do with ur question, yet when u ask it u get flamed and told to search n ur thread gets deleted, and yes a lot of people here love their TL. but there are some that wont stop ragging on them. i mean seriously people, they're are some newbies here so easy on em

i also like to see that its the "newbies" with 25 and less posts complaining about this.... i have less than all of you and I am quite pleased with all the help that this forum has provided me... without sarcasm, too...

so thus, to sum up, in conclusion, maybe it's the "newbie" that everyone is flaming? perhaps? hmmm, everyone is quick to point fingers without looking in the mirror. if you dont like the forum, go somewhere else instead of bitching about it.

the topic you initially responded to me about was the validity of my car's purchase. i, however, rebutted that with the fact that i paid for it. upset with the shut down, you quickly needed to change the topic. admit it, your response in regards to my car's purchase was not necessary. chill out man, no one personally attacked you. grow up and act like you're all of 5 years older than me...

Are there not other threads discussing this? There are hundreds of threads that have complaints about the TL and there are also threads which say the TL is excellent.

im not a newbie, i've been on this forum for a while. everyone gets flamed. my old name was 04 acura TL but got rid of my 04 and bought a 06. im jus sayin, some people in here are really harsh and selfish

I probably would leave this open if it wern't for the bitching. If you have complaints about things, discuss them in a civilized manner and not this bitching match. It doesn't matter who paid for their car and how. It is nobody else's business except the owners. Grow up.

 

Okay here we go, this place is not becoming a Love TL forum. You cant blame people for sticking up for the car. Ever since I first came here it has been a "this is what I dont like about my TL" forum. People are using this place as an outlet for there anger with the car. Im not saying that this forum should be full of butterflies and rainbows but I for one am fucking tired of the constant bitching about rattles and other little piddly shit. I understand that the car has issues. But my god, we all know what they are. We have a sub-forum, its called Problems and Fixes. That is what its there for. You have a problem, go there and see if there is a fix for it. If not, then start and thread and someone will help you if they can. This forum was not designed for you to come on here and post your laundry list. If you dont like the car, by all means get rid of it and go away. I dont care. I come on here to celebrate the car. Yes I have issues with it. Hell I just got it back from the dealer today for an issue with 3rd gear. But it was handled and dealt with. I didnt start a thread on how mad I am about this and what is acura doing about it. If someone asks if anybody has had this issue then I'll chime in. The reason you get flame by enthusiasts is because of that one word, enthusiast. They come here because they are happy about the car they bought and they have found a place where others share that same feeling.

One things for sure, it is my goal to make this a more positive forum with discussions about the car. Whether it be good or bad. But I can tell you that the good will always prevail. I will always take the side of Acura, they're not perfect but neither are you.....
