The wood grain goes very nicely with the parchment interior. Not my taste, but still nicely done.

Looks very good. I like the fake wood much better than the fake carbon fiber. I also have parchment interior.
What did they charge for the extra wood trim?
Thx.

Looks great!! Upscales the caliber of the interior making the dash look more like the MDX and is equivalent to the amount of wood paneling found on all Lexus models. Now all you have to do is get matching pieces for the doors.
Where did you order these from?

Is your shift knob the same color?
They're not directly from Acura, right? If yes, Acura should put this opiton on their list. If not, do you mind telling me how to get them?
Thanks...

Wood accent pieces kit
Hi everyone,
I posted information about the wood accent piece kit in an ealier thread. I have ordered my kit and am waiting for delivery. The kit is part #WD541A (Nav), and #WD541B (no Nav). It is available on the internet through "exoticwooddash.com" to name one of the sites for $167/$196 No Nav/Nav respectively. Some of the sites include shipping and tax in their pricing. I decided to have a pro install the kit for me though I probably could do it. I figured his charge of $100 was reasonable enough to get it done right (he is giving me 10% off cost of the kit itself though so not a full $100 cost). Total cost to have the kit installed is less than $300 then. These kits are an exact match to the factory pieces found in the Parchment and Camel interiors. As you all may remember I removed the Black Carbon that came in my Quartz interior TL and replaced with the same pieces found in the lighter interiors.

I was wondering if you had any photos of your quartz intrerior with the wood replacing the fake carbon fiber. I'm eager to get an Anthracite 04 TL but just can't bring myself to accept the carbon fiber.
Thanks for any input

Here is the name of the thread to find the pics I posted earlier. Go to the "third generation Tl" line of threads. Then go to the thread "Dealer experiences in LA county". You will find the pics there. I am adding the wood kit next week and will post new pics after the additional pieces are in. E-mail me for additional info. if needed/wanted.

I know my dealership wasn't offering any addidtional trim for the TL, I wanted mor ewood since I got the automatic, I wanted the car to have a luxury flair. I finally found a company that will do the steering wheel, I just hate the thought of taking it off, and sending it. The one in the photos look good, I'd leave off the piece on the radio, and upper vents, but I like it. Do you know who the manufacturer for the kit. B & I doen't have their yet, I know they make great kits, they do most of the oem kits for Toyota, and Lexus.

where to get the wood accent kt
I have posted this on other threads as well, so bear with me as I post again. The kit is available on the internet at "exoticwooddash.com". Part #WD541A (Nav) and #WD541B (no Nav) at $196 and $167 plus shipping respectively. The kit is the same as was posted recently installed. E-mail if you have any additional questions. My kit comes in on Friday and will be installed shortly thereafter. I will post pics once completed.

re: is the kit an overlay?
Hi everyone,
My weekly update. I got the additional wood kit in and most of it has been installed. Unfortunately one piece came damaged so it is being sent back to be replaced. What has been installed is great though. I will post pics when the complete kit is done. All the pieces are an overlay that goes over the black portions of the dash and door trim. It came with adhesive already in place. If you are steady and a patient person you would be able to install yourself. As some may remember I am the one that replaced the carbon pieces with wood tone pieces. I am completely happy with my decision. The wood look is much richer and to my tastes.
