I bought the whole set for $908 out the door.
I plan to put Yokohama AVS DB2 on them b/c I heard those tires are good and quiet but I might change my mind to go with other brands if there is a better one.
Any recomendation on the tires to use with those OEM 18" rims is greatly appriciate!

Sonic,
Nice looking rims. Noticed from pics that these are made by Enkei, the same manufacturer for the OEM 18" alloy wheels for Acura. I'm very interested on the weight of these wheels, is it possible for you to weigh one of these & let us know how many pounds?
Also, does anyone know are these chrome wheels made, chrome plated or entirely made of chrome? If chrome plated, what's the material inside? Steel/alum/alloy? Appreciate any reply. Thanks.

Sonic .. looks fabulous!
can't wait to see it on your car.. what color car do you have? It'll look good on ANY color, come to think of it.
Jshih .. those ARE the a-spec rims .. they were chrome plated.. the added weight is about 2lbs per rim over the stock 25lbs per rim (A-spec rim).

I got them from Acura of Temecular.
Here is a little story about the price:
I originally ordered the gun metal for 908, but when I come over the dealer, the salelady said only one rim left! so she gave me a discount 100 off for the time I spend to drive to the dealer!
I saw the chrome rim display there and felt in love with it so I asked her how much it costs me to have the chrome rims. To my surprise, she told me I need to add an extra $150 for 4 rims, but after a little talk.. she said she can made it 908 out the door.
I said go for it... and you know what happened next ...
Later on I found that she gave me such a great deal before she moves to work at Honda dealer.
Peter,
I got the Anthracite-Quart combo. Hope the rims look good on the Anthracite.
P.S: I can put up a pic of receipt if you think I need to prove the price

I have the Yokohama AVS DB2 on my 18 inch wheels and love them. They handle well and look great on the car. I have about 3500 miles on them and so far no signs of any wear. I have noticed some flat spoting when temps are below 30 degrees but they seem to be fine after no longer than 1/4 of a mile. Seems odd but after that they are very very smooth!

Yes lets see what they look like. I get my WDP Tuesday.
Would consider the 18's for summer, OEM for winter.
Tire? I'm not speed racer, just want a reliable, good looking tire at a reasonable price.
I've heard great things about the Falkens, which tire??

Yeah, I think the chrome rims would be significantly higher than the OEM 18s that we're trying to do via group buy. I think that's because they have to send them to a third party to get chromed.

Er, aren't chromed rims what we are talking about here? I know there is another thread about a group purchase of non chrome A spec 18" rims but this thread started
with chromed rims. I want them but not at $429 each.
What other rims are like these? Any suggestions?

THose Chrome rims look sick. I still feel for a group buy we should get a better deal or equal deal to Sonics. Perhaps we need to check Curry Acura. They have really great prices. If I get a chance I will check with them tomorrow.
