Im going to pick up my car from the service department today (Acura of Milford in CT). I brought it in for its first oil change, and a small list of issues that I was having. Atop the list was an issue with my front bumper. Whoever put the front licence plate holder on the car applied to much pressure and ended up leaving an imprint of the upper left corner on the bumper. The dealership replaced it under warenty and had a bumper painted and put on today. The service person I am dealing with just called and said the usual after a paint job, no wax for a month. I said just on the from bumper, right? He said, no on the fenders too, cause they blended them.... If it dosen't look good, Saturday morning I'm gunna get and in the service dept, then , stuff.

 

I got the same notice about my rear bumper repaint. Told me 1 month before a wax job if vehicle kept outside but 3 to 6 months if garage kept. Of course my car was rearended so additional work was needed beyond painting, he stated the epoxy had to harden as well...
