Picked up my TL yesterday :)
I am the proud new owner of a TL in Anthracite, Ebony Interior, 6 speed, Navigation, and Aspec
I LOVE THIS CAR
I will post pics this evening when I get home...
I've been stalling out like crazy, still getting used to this clutch, which is very different from my Legend's. I guess I am just used to a really low clutch. Is it just me?!?!?!
Another thing. The leather is AWESOME, and I do not have a fat a$$ but somehow it leaves a buttprint EVERY time I get out of the car.

Yep - butt prints are not too uncommon unfortunately.
This car is awesome. Enjoy.

The clutch takes some getting used to. I stalled a lot when I first drove my TL. I would suggest slowly letting out the clutch w/o getting on the gas, just so you can feel where the clutch engages and when the car starts to creep forward. That was the hardest part for me, to figure out where the engagement point was. Once you figure that out, it becomes relatively smooth to take off by gently transitioning between the clutch and the gas. On the bright side, after a couple of weeks, it becomes like second nature....
The buttprint usually goes away in a little bit. But as others have also suggested on this site, using Lexol regularly (once a month for me) has helped my leather. I don't see buttprints on any of my seats although immediately after someone gets up, it is still visible. The leather is a lot more supple and soft.

The 6-speed is tricky and after two weeks I'm still getting used to it.
The odd part is that you need to add gas as you let out the clutch.
The last manual I drove regularly was an Integra GS-R and on 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5 shifts I would just depress the clutch, shift, let out the clutch and once I was completely off the clutch I would give it gas. This was during regular everyday driving, not racing.
But if you try that in the TL you'll stall it. You need to add gas as you let off the clutch, and I'm not used to that. Its like the gap between gear ratios is greater than on other cars I've driven. Also, 1st gear requires more gas to get started than I'm used to. None of this is any big deal but it takes some getting used to. I think I stalled twice in the first week and that's about it.
Good luck with the car. I hope the financing worked out ok for you.

Yes I agree with the manual - a little tricky at first. The clutch is very high and you also need to gas it as you release. I stalled a few times in some busy places but after a week i got the hang of it - no problems now.
Also getting into 1st and going to 2nd can be really tough. you have to make sure you let off on the clutch extremely slowly. As soon as i think i can do it a little faster, its not smooth. Oh well guess thats a drawback of a MT but i love it and so will you.

Welcome to the 6MT club. Two observations; first, reving out first gear to about 4000 rpm, even when not driving quickly, smooths the shift to second gear. Secondly, the car will auto rev-match your upshifts if you accelerate past 3500 rpm - when you push in the clutch and let off the gas, the electronic throttle will hold the rpms at the exact point for the next gear. Just slide it in gear and let out the clutch, no gas needed. It sounds good on paper, IRL - it sucks.

Welcome!
Welcome to the 6MT A-SPEC club!
This car kicks A$$!
The higher you run your RPM's the easier it shifts.
Forget about the recommended mph shift points in the manual...especially between 1st and 2nd.
Started and still driving manuals since 1971...

Yea the seats leave an impression and the clutch action requires you to think but thinking is a good thing. If only my SUV driving neighbors would think every so often this would be a more perfect world.
