Question Performance Satisfaction level

While I understand that the TL is a sedan, it also is targeting a specific (in my opinion) performance oriented crowd. As such I was wondering about the general satisfaction with the performance of the new TL. Understand that I am not talking about dragging the TL, but am more interested in real world performance (i.e. passing, merging, etc).

Thanks in advance!

It can not be beat for performance in traffic or on the open road. The only limitation is rear vision which can be a problem. It's a wonderful car.

Re: Re: Performance Satisfaction level

I waited for someone else to post a reply just to see what they said, and it is exactly what I was going to write, almost word for word. The only change I would make is to put the rear vision limitation part in BOLD type.

The six speed is fantastic, I dont worry too much about the rear view since there is usually no one close enough to matter!

Definitely get the six-speed. Anyone know if a short-shift kit is in the works?

I LOVE this car. Straight ahead performance is pretty damn near perfect. With better tires, even the 5AT is sporty in the curves. It is, by no means, "tossable", but the suspension is well behaved for such a heavy sedan.

Performance is GREAT! The rear vision thing IS true.....there's a definite limit to it...but as for merging and passing.......sky's the limit!
