went to acura of brooklyn. got a 05 TL with navi for $33,275 w/out tax, title, etc..
this price does include the dest charge however.

 

how did u get that price? i went there in april and they wouldnt budge off $33,100 for an 04TL NON-navi, i repeat NON -navi....i ended up gettin and 04TL WITH NAVI from ryans open road for $33,200. much nicer people than those in acura of brooklyn

 

I know one of the sales guys there.

 

$34500 5AT/Navi with Body side molding, splashguards, and wheel locks (including destination) from Rallye Acura in Roslyn.

 

I got my 04 tl with navi for $33000..that included dest. and wheel locks from rallye acura.

 

also put a deposit down on a 04 TL with navi at Ralleye for $32,275 w/out tax, title, etc.. but decided to wait for the 05

 

you're looking at 32.5 to 33.5 (AT/Navi only, no extras)

 

04 tl/5at/navi anthracite/ebony for $ 33,050 + tax/tags from Hisllside Acura in bayshore NY back at the end of June. I added the lip spoiler from them for $ 397 installed as well

 

anyone dealt with Paragon Acura @ Long Island city, Queens

 

They're CROOKS. Save your money and effort and go elsewhere.

Lots of people had bad dealings with Paragon, including myself. Do a search on this Forum and you'll see what I'm talking about. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere. They'll quote a good price but you'll never get the car at the price quoted.

I bought from Rallye in Roslyn and had a very good experience there.

 

Has anyone used the BJs buying service or the AAA buying service in NYC?
How is Acura of Manhattan?

 

Don't know how much lower I could have gone but '05/AT/NAVI for 33.8 at Acura of Valley Stream -- nice sales people. Ask for Steve Verga.

I almost bought from Steve, but Rallye was able to get my car sooner. He was really nice to deal with though. My neighbor has a 2nd gen. TL. She uses Valley Stream's service dept. and is very satisfied with them.

 

Just to let you guys know, I bought my TL-S from Acura of Brooklyn and it would be much more accomodating if you bought it in Valley Stream. The price for my TL-S at the end of the model year was not a good price, and Acura of Brooklyn has a bad service department. Steve is a really nice guy at Valley Stream and even when I was at the Service Department a few weeks ago he dragged 2 or 3 '05 TL's out the door in the 2 hours I was actually there. Their service department (particularly Norman, who's a great guy) is really good too. I had over $11k in work done to my car over there (yes, $11k) and my car has had absolutely no problems since I got it back a month or two ago.

It is one thing to buy from a place that has a good sales department, but when you could get good service along with it too, it only sweetens the deal.

 

dont deal with them, mad expensive..

I just did two deals with paragon acura. I had a very smooth experience. I posted about it on this board already, but if you want more details, feel free to PM me. I dealt with Melvin Salcedo there. I got a great price, I got what I wanted when I wanted, and there were no games.

They used to be in an older, dilapidated building as recently as about two months ago. I think the negative comments stem from the old operation. The new place is very clean and modern. good luck to you.

 

i went to Acura of Brooklyn, the guy would'nt give me the 5at with navi for anything less than 34000. and would'nt tell me what the price would come out to for the A-Spec unless i was buying from them, what kinda policy is thaT?, so i went to Springfield, their more relaxed, don't bother u unless u ask for them, and i test drove it all i wanted. but they don't have the exact one i wanted, (black, navi, quartz interior) so they called me today about a stock they just got in of Black TL's but all with Black interiors, sigh. Rallye was really cool the guy said "redline it" when i was testing the manual TL. lol. but they also did'nt have my car. I am curious about Acura of Manhattan, anyone know how their service is?, i e-mailed em and they told me to name a price because their doing aggressive sales. and they will try their best to match it. alotta cars in brooklyn that i see are from Acura of Manhattan. anyone know how their service is? (tho i really would'nt want to have to go into manhattan everytime i need something checked.)

 

how are they as far as trade ins? (talking bout acura of manhatten)

 

Carsdirect.com is now listing the 5AT/Navi for 33,923 including destination. You may want to try to use that number when negociating. Also don't forget to get them to throw in a few extras.

 

I'm also looking in NYC, hoping to buy this week. Specifically an auto w/navi, either anthracite or black with camel interior. Anyone still looking, and maybe wants to try to get a deal at the same place--bringing in 2 sales at the end of the month and year should def get us a deal.

tell them u got an internet quote for that price from the internet manager

 

try curry acura. they are the #1 dealer for acuras in the u.s., for cutomer service and they dont try to screw you. i didnt buy i leased so i cant help you much on the, but ask for david stein and tell him that you heard about him from this forum and he will give you a damn good deal. he gave me some prices over the phone and he sounded like a very nice guy and thats why i went to him. the # is 914-472-6800.

 

i saw that curry acura is selling alotta stuff on ebay, like the full A-Spec kit, and the bodykits pre painted from factory and such. pretty cheap too.
