Paul, Our Star Master Mechanic in Nawth Jerzy Mechanic Strikes Again!
Yesterday, I had my 326K tune-up which consisted of the Aisin Timing belt / water pump kit, Gates serpentine belt and tensioners, those new NGK Ruthenium HX spark plugs, resealing of the oil pump and pan to eliminate a very very slow leak, Gates best quality thermostat, Denso air filter, WIX charcoal impregnated cabin filter, installation of a Coverlay dash cover to cover up the cracking dash we all have, rear motor mount, and a brand new OEM steering wheel which I found on ebaY for $49.
Unlike most mechanics, Paul takes his time to double-check every little thing he does as he's doing it to make sure he's doing it right. It took him 2 days to complete all this mind you. In 16 years of ownership, I can't ever remember this car running so well, and I feel I could leap tall buildings at a single bound! In other words, take on most vehicles on the road in a race, even though my racing days are long over. Ahhh, to have a new car again,
So if you're in my area, there's NO ONE ELSE to work on your car!

@DMZ, even though I live in New Hamster, my mom is in a nursing home/rehab facility in Bergen County; when my car needs attention to something more critical than say an oil change, I'll be pinging Paul.

Won’t share what he charged, I have used him to - passenger axle, motor mounts, LCA bushings, airbag sensor replacement and brake job. All done perfectly and priced very competitively

I can't tell you what he'll charge you for whatever work, but I can GUARANTEE you'll much more than likely pay a shitload less than going to a dealer (stealership), and the quality of the work will be first-rate. Paul is a former Honda and Acura mechanic having worked at 3 dealers, and therefore only works on and is an encyclopedia for Honda Motor Co. Products. He works out of his 2 car garage and has all the tools and equipment needed to do whatever, including a lift.
This is the guy you always wished you could find so you wouldn't have to take your car to some shop somewhere not knowing if you're going to get ripped off. I sometimes refer to him as Mr Scott because whatever ails my car, he always straightens it right out. Paul is the main reason my car is still on the road after 16 years and 326K miles.
And oh yeah, living only 10 minutes away helps too!

Where is his shop located? I have been on the Honda scene for years. I’ve seen shops work on cars and the same cars end up stolen and stripped. I can tell by how often people mention him, his work is amazing. I have someone who works on my vehicles on the side, so that means there is a long waiting game. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Null and proud of it
Glad to see you're still investigating in the well being of your car at that mileage. I just read another post from a different member saying his 250K-ish smile TB/WP will be his last and will basically run it until inevitable catastrophe instead of maintaining it properly.
Horsehoez... gotcha!

I am another happy customer of Paul. He is there when you need him. He has taken care of my car since 100K. It's at 220K now and it's running better than ever. He is my go-to person.

I'll be calling Paul soon for TB service as well as replacing the alternator & starter. I'm at 175,000 miles and I know that original alternator & starter will stop working soon.

Replace the alternator and starter? Not sure I agree with that sentiment. Yes, a few fail, but then again, a few fail will under 100,000 miles while others are still going strong at over 300,000 miles. Said another way, on any given day, you are as likely to have a replacement starter and/or alternator fail as the original unit.

DMZ, regrettably I'm not in the Jersey area. Seems as though Paul is all that and a bag of chips in regards to work on the Acura TL. You mention that he installed the Coverlay Dash Cover. By chance, do you know what adhesive he utilized the affix the cover to the dash? The adhesive that came with the cover doesn't hold up well in North Florida (Jacksonville).
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
