Parking assist

Does anyone know how this works?
Is it integreated in the Nav?
is it just beeping or are there lights to show u how close you are?

Also on a side note, can anyone show me where these side mirror indicators are that everyone is talking about? I don't see them

it is an option. U can see it on some of the pics, it is the series of "holes" along the rear bumper. The beeping noise is in some cars, Caddilac uses lights and sound. Would be nice to actually see something to integrate it w/ the nav, even use a camera. Just my thoughts

It's an option. It is listed in the brochure, and you can see it in a few of the pictures. Its 4 small holes on the bumper.

Who really needs parking assist in such a little car? Pops, you better get your eyes checked.

I would find it useful in an SUV/Van when you can't see the car behind you because the rear window is too high.

What about people that want, instead of need. I want it!

If you really want it, you could probably install it on any car you want. Check out the nice job this guy did on his Sienna.

You heard, the new Toyota Prius has it's own parallel parking system. It will automatically parallel park for you.

That is tight.

It also has an optional smart/intelligent key system.

That's it. I'm breaking up with my g/f and will start dating this Toyota Prius thing. At least it can do what she's never been able to do properly.

Well you're going to have to go to Japan. Only the Japanese-Spec cars get the auto-park feature.
