overheating fixed , navigator screen weirdness

overheating fixed , navigator screen weirdness
was able to fix my overheating problem just by "burping" the system for air bubbles 
however my navigator screen has been dead for a couple of years now suddenly displayed "loading software" and then asked for the code right after I entered and was about to fix my clock settings went off again! any ideas about this crazy event? 
or how to troubleshoot and fix it? loose connection somewhere?
