Overhead Consol

anyone know how to remove the overhead consol. Want to tap power for radar detector

Nope,

but I stuck the power for my radar detector into my wiper fuse and ran the wires up along the dash.

I will try to scan the page from the repair manual today, but it is a little unclear and conflicts on two different pages.

But it looks like you remove the lenses to the map lights and then 4 bolts.
