Over a year and a half now.....
Wow, its been over a year and a half now since I bought the TL and just discovered I have heated mirrors.
I kept saying "how lame, this car does not have heated mirrors"
I misplaced my owners manual and just found it a week ago!

FWIW, you can also access the owner and Navi manuals on the Acura ownerlink website (http://owners.acura.com/) if you register your car.
It's useful for those of us who don't want to go to the car to look up something in the manuals in the glovebox, too.

I was driving around NJ last night and it was beyond misty. You can barely see street lights and not even the car in front of you at 3-4 seconds(3-4 dashes). The heated mirrors instantly worked and I turn it off right after. Make sure to keep them off unless needed.
My driver side one, right on the bottom edge has some rusting going on. I've only used it like twice, and one of those times I left it on all day. Oops!
So it isnt noticeable but now it bugs me that the rust is there.

On my other cars it's a bigger button, except for the Buick, that car doesn't have shit for options.
If you leave the mirror heating switch on when the car is un attended and has no ice to melt, it will eventually heat up so hot and burn your mirrors, creating a nasty brown color.
Be glad that you don't have it as bad as GuitarPlayer does
