FWIW, you can also access the owner and Navi manuals on the Acura ownerlink website (http://owners.acura.com/) if you register your car.
It's useful for those of us who don't want to go to the car to look up something in the manuals in the glovebox, too.

so you never bothered to look on the side of the steering wheels where usually the mirror heater buttons are on cars?

Just make sure to turn it off when they are all melted because if you leave it on too long, it will cause rust spots on the mirrors. I learned it the hard way.

I was driving around NJ last night and it was beyond misty. You can barely see street lights and not even the car in front of you at 3-4 seconds(3-4 dashes). The heated mirrors instantly worked and I turn it off right after. Make sure to keep them off unless needed.

My driver side one, right on the bottom edge has some rusting going on. I've only used it like twice, and one of those times I left it on all day. Oops!
So it isnt noticeable but now it bugs me that the rust is there.

Who knows what I thought, the button is pretty small. Maybe I need glasses On my other cars it's a bigger button, except for the Buick, that car doesn't have shit for options.

That's not rust. As you mentioned, that is caused from leaving the heated mirror button pressed in while turning the car off.

If you leave the mirror heating switch on when the car is un attended and has no ice to melt, it will eventually heat up so hot and burn your mirrors, creating a nasty brown color.

Be glad that you don't have it as bad as GuitarPlayer does
