Outside mirror question.

I did decently figure that my TL outside mirrors doesn't change positions while switching on reverse drive as it was initially.
Is this some memory settings or I have to do repair?

If you put the switch on the left or right mirror, that mirror will move when put in reverse. If the switch is in the middle, nothing moves. And you can't make both of them move, only the one the switch is set to.

You do know there is a switch on the dash that can be set for right or left mirror to move or to an OFF setting? Perhaps you inadvertantly changed that setting.

Speaking of outside mirrors...does anyone know why they make folding mirrors? What is the purpose? If you hit anything, that mirror is still gonna be destroyed. If your garage is that narrow - what a pain to get out and fold your mirrors each time.

Just curious.

Sometimes that bit of extra room is necessary if you need to squeeze your car into a tight spot. For storage perhaps...
