That is funny.

I didn't drive my car because I worked 2 miles from my old job and public transportation was faster and cheaper. I don't drive my car now because I am unemployed and cant afford to go anywhere.

So how much sex do you have with your wife? And do you tell her that you're planning on trading her in eventually?

I'm Not Going Anywhere!

Bought new in April 2004 and still showroom. It now shares ride time with my Mercedes-Benz and is accumulating miles even slower than before.

I live alone and have three cars on the road. The insurance company loves me.

If you are interested, here is a picture from last week. It was in the rain, but you get the idea.

i'd stay the 5th year than go to the "other" school, be damned the grad degree. go to the anderson school instead i bet its fun at your house during rivalry week. you need a vanity tag for your car that says you hate USC.

That's funny. You want to go back West, I want to go back East. I like the beach and all, growing up I spent as little time in Bakersfield as possible, literally every weekend was spent in Santa Barbara, San Luis, San Diego, Huntington Beach, Hollywood, and Vegas when I got older. I could see myself retiring in one of the beach cities, otherwise I want to go back to the Gulf Coast. Plus I have 80 acres out there with a natural spring and deer so if worst comes to worst I'll always have a place to go.

I had things figured out from an early age, just ended up hanging out with the wrong crowd for a while which delayed the whole marriage thing.

its not about the beach...its the people and the way of thinking. cali's economy is stinkin' so i probably wouldn't go back there any time soon, plus most of my good friends are back there. maybe the SW? eh...wishful thinking. its not bad here, but its not cali (it goes beyond the weather).

Is your name associated with the letter D? I meant Wndrlst.. She's always sharing her inappropriate lebianisms with other female members and PM'ing them pictures of horse dong. AM refers to ASM.. and the Queen would be Carrielynn.

You have 80 acres out here somewhere? Why aren't we building a barn on it, where we'll soup up riced out civics and rob 18 wheelers of their cargo? Then in our getaway, you and I will race your GN to the end of a railway. Justn will be our scapegoat.

btw.. got behind the wheel of a GT-R. You would love it. That is all.

Purchased Nov '05 off the showroom floor. 105K. Motor fragged due to spark plug failure. Having to do a motor swap. Changed CVs. Intend to get 150K more out of it. Installed clear-bra at dealership and have replaced it once. Only rock chips on "metal" grill pieces. Never wrecked. Perfect condition aside from wear on leather in driver's seat and from car seat. I'm gonna keep 'er but I'm sure P/O'd with Acura/Honda for a catastrophic failure that could have easily been prevented with a shorter maintenance interval.

Updated info

I took delivery of my 2004 Navi, 5AT in April of 2004.

I still have it and it is still in pristine condition with 24k miles. It has been 8 1/2 years and I still have the original tires which the dealer just rotated and balanced while doing a 4-wheel alignment. I will attach a picture taken about a month ago. There are still no door dings or paint chips (clear-bra). I don't remember anyone ever being in the back seat. Leather is like new with no cracks or wear. I treat it every couple of months with Zaino's Leather in a Bottle. When riders get in, they remark that it smells like a new car.

I was offered $16,000 for it and turned it down.

Spark plug causing engine failure

FWIW, pulled my plugs at 105k, could have gone longer but it was the right time. I've never heard of a failed spark plug killing an engine. I'm guessing it unseated then grenaded in the cylinder and destroyed the head at the same time. Still salvageable.. unless you asked the dealer to look at it which they would have replied an astronomical price to replace since they don't fix.

Give her Premium and stay up on maintenance and she shouldn't give you any issues. There at least 2 3G-TL's that I know of with more than 300k with no trans or engine issues.

Am

Purchased new in April 2006 and just passed 56,000 miles. Added some 2004 A-Spec gunmetal rims but otherwise she is stock. Other than some wear on the leather she has been perfect.

Taking her in for new brakes next month. Probably keep her another 4-5 years until the wife's car is paid off. Just don't want 2 car payments at the same time.

damn xpditor...24k mi??!! on an 04. holy crap. your TL is still looking hot after all these yrs. i certainly know what you mean about the mint condition like interior is..mine is a lot like that since i think i've had passengers in my back seat a handful of times. otherwise it's like stepping back in time when you look inside.

mine has slowly crept up to 57k mi.

Bought mine in Feb 2004 with 3 miles on it. In almost 9 years & 119k miles later, I still enjoy getting in and driving the TL.
