Green Tea
Ordered in October. It came in December 11, 2006 with 3 miles on the odometer. Just hit 45K 2 days ago.
I plan keeping this car till the wheels fall off and the navigation lady can't speak anymore.

Bought my '05 in October of '05 - brand new. 90,000 miles so far - I think it's officially broken in.
NBP with camel interior. Kicker 4x65w to 2 - Polk 6.5 coax rear, 2 - Polk 6.5 component in doors, and Kicker 1x300 to Pioneer 10" sub. Original headunit with Rockford Fosgate 3-sixty

Any of you original owners growing tired yet? The 3G TL (IMO) still looks like a new car. You'd never guess that some are 7-8 years old.
Ironically, that happened to me. Got her fixed though.

nope. the TL still looks great even after 6 years of ownership. with a few mods it makes the car even more fun to drive which keeps things interesting. even though i've driven the 4G TL (loaners)....the tech in the car is all nice a new, but the looks of the car really turn me off. plus mine is paid off. i have a lot of pride in my TL...and many of the guys at my dealer see that...i think what is more impressive is that i'm a chick that loves and cares about her cars.

New member her but thought this thread was interesting - been lurking for several years. I have a 2007 TLS with 40k miles - still looks new and has been 100% trouble free. Also still have and was the original owner of a 2000 TL. Now has 192k miles and still going strong - had transmission replaced in 2003 or 4 but other than that never had another issue - not even minor ones. Won't even consider a 4G TL - also put off by the looks and it feels a bit big to me.

Me neither. I still get excited to drive it.
Geez how come you never drive it?

I have had my TL since Dec 31st, 2004.
Only 37000 miles on it and I am now ready to replace it. I'm going to sell this TL before 2012. It's been a great car, without any serious problems in all this time. Gonna miss it, but hopefully I will replace with another Acura.

5 years and 79,411 miles later
Purchased August 1, 2006 and picked it up the next day. I still remember the feeling of excitement on the way to the dealership to pick the car up. Then the nervous feeling as I drove it out of the dealership. hah

Such a Happy Thread! LoL
I have never bought a "new" car. But, I bought my first TL (99) in 2001. Bought it when i was 18 (and i still currently drive it daily @ 187,000 miles)
I own a 3rd gen also. Bought it in 2007 (2005, blk on blk w/ navi, and it only had 27k miles /Only has 44K miles now). The wife and i drive it on trips unless we need the room, then we drive her "fully loaded gas-guzzling" cadillac srx.

Well.... we kept it in the family?
I convinced my day to buy it for himself as he needed a new car - I was in the SIXTH grade. Bought one of the first shipped to Delaware in 2003. Dad handed me the keys to it in 2008, with 26,000 on the ODO. Still my car in 2011, with just under 70k on the odo.
She is my most prized possession, and am thankful to my parents every time I turn the ignition key.

Burning Brakes
Bought: Feb 2006
Orignal Miles: 3
Current Miles: 102,500
Funny thing is, I was cleaning the interior and found a piece of the plastic that they cover new car interiors with. It was still jammed in the A-piller by the dash.
