Opinions please

I will soon be able to get one of two things for my TL. Acura underbody kit and wing (I know a lot of you don't like the wings, but I do) OR new wheels and tires.
I am looking at the Avarus AV3 in black from Tire Rack. If I don't get the new wheels, has anyone painted their OEM wheels black or dark gray?

All opinions will be considered and appreciated.

Thanks, Dan

It would easier to get an image if you posted a picture of the rims. I would get the kit first, then when I save up more money, sell the stock rims, and get a new set. But thats just me.

Keep in mind that a permanently installed wing will more than likely reduce your buyer's market when the time comes to sell or trade in your TL. These cars are not perceived as being candidate for such visual mods.

Just a friendly suggestion.

A SiQ TL, Thanks for the info. As a newbie, I have not looked at all of the info here, and will most likely never see it all, as there is sooooo much. I used to belong to a different site that specialized in Chevy Avalanches (mine was an 02). It was a lot like this site. I am glad I found it.

SouthernBoy - The wing will be the one from Acura and as far as resale goes, my car is a lease. If I decide to keep it at the end of the lease, it will most likely go to my son when he is 16. 4-1/2 years from now. He is at the stage where the "cool" wings are the big aluminum ones.

Thanks for all the input. Dan

Oh.. the factory "spoiler" (or small wing if you wish). This will probably have little affect on resale were you to be of the mind for this. When you said wing, my impression was the kind (as you said your son likes) that is BIG (and rather nasty to boot).
