Please don't. There are a few cars that have this done and it doesn't look good in any way.

^if you want to change up the look of your tails...you can do either of the following:

buy type -s tails.
buy 07-08 base tails.

or send the base 07-08 tails to one of the vendors on here to fully customize them.

Listen to Justnspace. Taking niteshade tint to your headlights or taillights is a good way of making your entry-luxury $35,000 car look like a cheap car.

Do it right and get the internals modified. If you have a 2004-2006 there isn't anything you can get done. If you want to get ur tails modified you will need either a 2007-2008 base or type-s taillights

Again, thanks guys. I will take your advise. I am getting my windows tinted this weekend and probably gonna order a CAI too. But I am leaning more towards just keeping it nice and clean on the outside and putting some money on some nice mods to the engine. Any suggestions on what I should do after a CAI? Exhaust?

From: is everything.
Pre-cat deletes, Jpipe. Then decide carefully on the exhaust as they will all be louder with the PCD's

Save the money and don't purchase a CAI. If you want one of the worst power:money ratio mods than a CAI takes the cake.

If you want a mod that gives you noticeable gains and is one of the top power to money ratio (best bang for the buck) go with either a J-Pipe with a built in 3rd cat delete. You will gain 7-15 hp at the wheels. Costs about $450.

Or you can get high flow cats or pre-cat deletes. Gains are anywhere 10-20 hp at the wheels. Costs about $500 or $600 depending on what you get.

A cold air intake costs about $200-$275 and do you know how much you will gain in terms of power? Anywhere between 1-3hp at the wheels. Trust me. I have a CAI too. I installed a Injen CAI and noticed very little gains but a lot of sound when stepping on the pedal. I installed a XLR8 J-Pipe that doesn't delete the 3rd cat and I noticed low end torque improved as soon as I pulled the car out the garage. I wish I had waited to buy the new j-pipes that have a built in 3rd cat. I would have gained a bit more power.

+1
I had an intake that my friend gave me, The AEM V2. I had it on for about a year and ended up selling it. It's basically just a sound mod, not performance. You could probably get the same benefits from a silencer removal of the stock intake and save yourself $200.
