Open sunroof and rain!

So, I left my sunroof propped up since in was a sunny day out and it stortmed pretty bad at night. The inside was slid closed so no water got into the car but is their any possible damage that could have been done? I believe the interior slide is plastic on the outside but I am not to sure.

I don't think it is a big deal I left my pop up before and it rain really hard the night before and nothing major happen except for the plastic getting wet. When the weather become sunny just bring it out and bake under the sunlight eventually water will evap.

Fellas, there is a difference between sunroof and moonroof being open. Sunroof is the tilt, the moonroof is the all off. He's mentioning the tilt. There is water drain holes, if I'm not mistaken, on the sides on the sunroof. I've left mine open at least 50 times in a 3-4 year span and nothing has happened.

U should be good. I've done WAY WAY worse with an older car of mine. Like it down poured with my sunroof wide open while I was playing golf. We took shelter and it was about 5 minutes till I realized it. When I got back it was ridiculous!!! The smell was the worst..lasted one year

Kind of off topic but.. I heard a story once where these kids were going around vandalizing houses and cars in their development and shit. They would hit houses at night that had their garages opened.. They then would take the homeowner hose and put it in their car and turn it on. The next morning the owner comes downstairs opens door to garage and finds his car full of water.. Apparently they hit like more than a few cars that way.. Could you imagine????
