One new headlight, replace the second to match?
One new headlight, replace the second to match?
I had a driver side headlight replaced last year on a 2005 TL due to an accident. The replacement headlight is now fogging up and they're going to replace it for me. If I remember right from the invoice they used a refurbished headlight and it cost about $250.
Now that I'm getting the driver side headlight replaced again, I'm considering just paying $250 or whatever for a refurbished passenger side headlight too so they'll match.
Bad idea? Seems logical just wanted to get some opinions before I spend the cash. Not really a hands on guy so any type of home remedy take apart/seal/clean I'd rather not bother with...

I was in the same boat with one of my cars not to long ago. Instead of buying another headlight to match my new one. I decided to look up how to buff out headlights and did that instead. It took awhile to get buffed out but it cost me 20$ for all the materials and 2hours of work than 175$ for a new headlight. Its up to you if you want to spend the time or the money.
