Once again--car hit...

im tired of my so called "luck"... at this point i have lost count on the number of hit my TL has taken, but im guessing somewhere along the lines of 6 or 7...

Few days ago at work, a fairly new worker threw the company Sequoia in reverse, then he tried to put the car into drive without applying the brakes which is not possible. Him seeing that my car was nearing he panicked and threw his foot down into the gas instead of the brakes. and voila. my front bumper took a hit from the tow hitch. FML.

if your co-worker is truly sorry about his actions, he would get you an aspec front spoiler along with the front bumper.

too bad for your co-worker as well. he's forever branded as the "car accident" guy in your company.

i agree, but the company is gonna reimburse me either out of pocket or via insurance (not decided yet)... and yes he's been bagged on ever since.

honestly, if your company is the one paying for it, just let them pay for the repairs, dont try to milk more out of them. I mean, if it's some stranger who hit your car, by all means milk the crap out of it, get new aspec lip, new front end paint job, etc. but since its your company just be a little nice to them lol. After all, you will alrdy have a new bumper and new paint, so no more rock chips/bottom scrapes.

well unless you dont like your job, then milk it i guess lol
