I wouldnt buy a salvaged car. You know the car has more likely been smashed to hell. Not only that but good luck selling it in the future. Dont waste your time and money get a clean titled TL.
I dont know for sure but it might also be hard to insure a salvaged car. I could be wrong about that though.

You should ask what happened with the car. From all the spelling errors, I'm assuming it might be a young adult, meaning he/she was probably smashing on the car a lot.
For that price or a little more you could find a better deal. If the car was around 10k or lower I'd say go for it.

I wouldn't but that is just me.
On a different but related note, why does it have an airbag cover from an 04 that looks beat up i.e. 04 is the only MY 3G w/ the shiny Acura symbol on the airbag cover but the auction says it is an 05?

Getting back to OP, the ad states it was hit in the right front, so difficult to believe the bag never went off, but the rear certainly wasn't repainted as the bumper cover color still differs from the body. States the front right fender, hood, and headlight were replaced, airbag never been deployed, but it would takes a lot more damage then this to have the insurance company total the car. I wouldn't purchased a salvage titled vehicle unless I knew the person that did the work, the repairs that were involved and was dirt cheap, and this is far from dirt cheap. Didn't even see the mileage listed, unless I was too fast.
My advice, stay away.

It really depends on why the car was salvaged. Sometimes a car can have very little damage but insurance companies write them off if a customer specifically says they dont want the car. Other times if it was a theft and recovered after the owner was paid, it gets written off. Damage adds up quickly. Price out a full set of airbags and you will see how easy it is to salvage a car. Not all salvage cars are bad cars, just the ones that were repaired poorly.
Without reading anything, this car looks like it was in a front end hit. As someone else mentioned, the drivers airbag is different. If you notice the front bumper paint is peeling, indicating a prior repair. I would highly recommend having a good body shop inspect the car to see the extend of its previous damage.

Here is my thoughts...I purchased a Salvaged title 04 TL not about a month and half ago..the car itself is CLEAN!! interior and exterior.
It was in a flood. Dont get me wrong when I bought it, it had problems:
1 - The water had gotten into the main computer and the driver seat computer..
2 - By doing so the anti theft system had gone off and couldnt start the car without the master key (which i got from an acura dealer without any problems.
3 - The seats didnt go back and forth nor tilted.
all i did was:
- replace the spark plugs,
- changed the oil and the filter,
- change both computers, (which the shop i bought it from replaced the main comp so i just changed the comp under the driver seat)
- also dealer provided me with the ignition key.
the car had 45K on it. 04 TL, white exterior, tan interior, except for a few scratches on the front bumper, the car is CLEAN!!
its been running without any problems. I bought it for 10K.
comes down to it you really have to make sure what you buying. do a car faqs review, inspect the car yourself. take a mechanic with you to inspect the car for you. ask questions and see why the title is salvaged.
hope this helped..

i would buy a tl with salvage title if it was under 9k with around 50k miles. the one you linked is way too much for a salvage title tl. if it was a type s i would consider it.

test drive it first... see if the car shakes while idling or driving... then make a list of things that you think is wrong and figure out how much you would have to spend if you bought the car... then decide from there...

get them if they under 10k, over...forget it. Cuz once its over 10k, you will be loosing even more money then you put in, but if its under 10k, either way winning that you can drive it for awhile and sell it back for the same price or you know just selling it a lil less then what you bought.

i bought my 05 6spd with 20k miles for 20k with a salvage title. i drove it for a month and the camshaft seized in the head. i had to order a new cylinder head and camshaft. then again, it gave me a good reason to put 07 tl-s cams inside. i think the previous owner hadn't maintained it well, and changed the oil like right before i looked at it. i own a repair shop, so it wasnt that costly to fix, but it was an inconvenience. i did get a carfax and i knew there was damage from an accident. The body shop did a terrible job, paint blemishes, overspray, etc. But i love the car. problem free going on three years now.

Check out the real facts.
You can have a Salvage title car - and absolutely nothing is wrong with it. Stolen or just abandoned vehicles for example.
You can have a clean title car that has had a ton of serious work done to it and nothing - yep nothing shows up on Carfax. The insurance companies do not want cars that are fixed to show up - they just want those that they have paid out $$ to show up.
Salvage history and the fears put in peoples mind is amazing.

From the Acura website:
Vehicles with titles that have been branded as salvaged, scrapped, or dismantled are no longer covered by the new car warranty, with the exception of some emissions warranties and safety recalls. For further information regarding the branding of vehicle titles, please contact your state’s department of motor vehicles.
