oil change

I called the Acura dealer today to schedule a complimentary oil change for my 06 anthracite. My car is at 50% oil life and has just under 2500 miles on it. I have plans to long drive from L.A. to the Bay on Christmas Day. So i call in, and the guy says it should still be good until the oil change reminder pops up. Don't know if the mechanic is being a turd just cuz its almost christmas... can anyone throw me their before it gets too late today? hahah...

hopefully the car won't clunk out when i head out

read this as a beginning, there is a reason why they dont want you to change the initial fill oil prematurely

Dont sweat it- change the oil when it says to in the manual. Run the regular oil the dealer gives you at the "free" change then next time switch to synthetic and live a long life

I learned never to trust the dealers. They honestly don't know what they are talking about. I went into the Honda dealer when I had my Accord many times to get things checked up, but they never could figure it out. Had to go on the forums and fix it myself. Listen to people on here, they probably know better then the dealers.
