O2 Simulator Wiring Install Help

Hi,

It's emissions time, and I'm now riding on an expired tag because I cannot pass emissions with a P0420 code. I'm looking to install an O2 Simulator to clear the code permanently but I can't find which wire is the "Signal Wire" coming off of the 5 wire Upstream Rear A/F Sensor. I have been searching for days, seriously, to figure this out-- I have a blue, black, white, yellow and gray wires coming off the sensor. Any idea what function each of these serves (specifically which is the sensor wire)? Also, any issues with others installing a Smart O2 Simulator in their TL's? I am really hoping this saves me the $1,000 the shop has quoted me to replace the cat.

Thank you so much for any help.

No one seemed to have any help here for the O2 install, but I since got a defouler from HeelToe and it worked like a champ. Installed it, drove about 50 miles and passed with flying colors. So stoked!!

Nice. Did you already have O2 sims? I thought they were illegal and unavailable now, hence the defouler solution? Alternative is to turn it off in Hondata, but that requires, well, a hondata.

did not see this thread in time - the defouler works like a charm doesn't it?
