I sealed the deal! Now I'm official. Guess I couldn't wait any longer. I got a 05 SSM/Ebony/AT/NoNav w/ protectin pkg today at Acura of Portland for $32,500 plus $218 for TTL(which included a bogus $50 document fee) but I let them get away with it. I found it for about $400 less at Acura of Eugene, but I would have to wait 4 weeks and drive about 100 miles to get it. Didn't think 4 weeks of enjoyment was worth $400 bucks.
I've seen prices elsewhere for a lot less, but it didn't seem like Oregon wasnt' getting those East Coast rates. Most dealers were offering only $750 off msrp at max. I was able to get mine for $1250 off msrp if i calculated everything right. I started looking for deals on an 04, but they are still selling like hotcakes here. they offered me $31.5K for an 04, and i'm sure i could have gotten them down to $31K, but for $1.5K more, I think the 05 is a better deal. 2nd year car w/ hopefully no tranny/driveline vib/wheel/etc problems. Hope I didn't get "taken for a ride" from them. Anyway, it's over now and time to enjoy the ride! Man this is a sweeeeet car!

I read almost everything in the past month on this site and also went through all the chapters of carbuyingtips.com and it seems to work. I'm happy!

My sales agent was Chan. I like him...calm, knowledgeable, patient, and nice. He even offered me $150 for any referrals. So if you're in Oregon and decide to go there, tell Chan that Ken Bee sent you and I'll send you back $100 of it if they do actually give it to me.
