Is this normal for an A-Spec Kit?

The side skirts have this space between them...excuse the dirtiness 
Also while I'm at it....when the car is cold and i turn the wheel all the way or almost all the way to pull out of a space it sounds/feels like my tires are either flat or idk its like a grinding kinda noise but then it goes away after it warms up.
