Nooooooooo....... my first rattle

Damn, it took 2000 miles, but I developed the headliner rattle others have mentioned (actually a "thud" on the passenger side) this morning.

Crappy Cleveland streets! *&#^)#*! Will be going to the dealer soon to have it fixed.

Neuron, I dont know if it's fixable yet. Try opening and closing it a couple of times to see if that helps. Remember were going through temperature canges and that may get things out of alignment.

Must be the roads I drive on here in California... At 1300 miles I have at least five rattles or creaks that occur at various times. One is regular, and the others are less frequent.

Fortunately the sound system is very good, so it does a good job of masking the rattles. Only half joking...

Otherwise the car is great.

My car has <120 miles on it and it has a constant rattle from the passenger side (at least that is where it sounds like it is coming from). It is more of a buzz (constant vibration rattle) than a rattle but is annoying none the less. Waiting on a set of tires I ordered to arrive. The dealer is going to swap the tires out so I will have them fix the rattle at the same time.

Sorry to hear that Bob, our cars are so close in build numbers, yet so different.

I do not have the thud you are talking about on the pass side, mine was (dealer fixed) on the drivers side and more of a clicking sound.

I hope I do not have to add that one to my list also

BTW - Acura tech support called in regards to my on line questions that we both filled out, they were asking about the off center steering wheel and if it was adjusted up or down when I drive. They also told them about a few other things in my discussion, btw, it apeared they heard of the seat memory issue.

Do you know the exact location and cause? I think that is one that I have. Hmm, how about a sticky thread on rattles and fixes?

it's the roads. The passenger side roof area seems to creak over potholes

The sound disappeared, but I was driving more in the burbs this evening--better roads. If it's not too bothersome, I'll wait to take it to the dealer.

And I just got a paper Product Quality Survey in the mail from Acura today, too. I'm going to wait a bit before filling it out.

I have an Anthracite 5MT camel. I love the ar, but developed a rattle/buzz at 600 miles, sounded like the drivers door, then the passenger door - near the top. I adjusted the driver seat belt, you know, the slider at the top of the belt where it attaches to the B pillar to accomodate different height driver. That took car of the rattle - and I haven't heard it for the last 600 miles.

I suggest you move that seat belt height adjuster around and click it inat different levels.
