use a voltmeter as a power source. simple test. just call back the ebay seller and tell them what happened. they send you another set again. are you talking about the boards? or the 4 led one?

yeah cuz it would work or it wouldn't just email the seller on ebay. tell him your situation. and he will send you a new one. Did you burn any of your car wiring??

i dont think so. i put the oem bulb back in and it works fine.

i blew a fuse but i replaced it with a spare that i had. so far no other issues.

just a little hesitant to order enough LED's to fill all the domes. i guess i'll test the replacement for a while once i get it and go from there.

if you complain enough they will usually just add extras. but before you put it in. test them first so you dont screw up your car.

I don't know if I'm the idiot, or the seller is a idiot but I was curious if these were rated at 5k white or 6k bluish-white. I sent the seller a e-mail to question and this was the response I got.

ME -
Dear hi-autopia,

Are these LED bulbs rated at 5k WHITE or 6k WHITE?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-T10-27-SM...ht_2347wt_1269
SELLER -

Thanks for contacting us.

We are pleasure to tell you that the LED bulbs rated at 3K.

Best regards,
Hi-autopia customer service
Amanda

Dear hi-autopia,

3K doesn't sound right. Do you mean 6k?

Look at this kelvin temperature chart - http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...elvin-Temp.gif -

3k is YELLOW
4300K is the same as 5k, PURE WHITE
6k is white with a tint of blue

For you to say these bulbs are rated at 3k doesn't make sense. If it is indeed 3k, it should not be listed as "WHITE" but should be listed as "YELLOW" or "AMBER" instead. Did you mean to say 6k but hit the 3 on the number pad on accident?
SELLER -

Thanks for contacting us.

Because of this is the led bulbs. It is different from xenon lamp.
The item is 3K.

Dear hi-autopia,

Yes, I understand LEDs are different from Xenons, but it still applies.

Check this place out, they offer LEDs in both Kelvin temperatures

http://www.v-leds.com/194-168-158-LE...orLanding/true - 5K Extreme Pure White

http://www.v-leds.com/194-168-158-LE...orLanding/true - 6k White w/ hint of blue
SELLER -

Thanks for contacting us.

Sorry to tell you that we could not open the links.

Best regards,
Hi-autopia customer service
Amanda

"We could not open the links" MY ASS.

The link works just fine. They were able to open my link that showed the kelvin temperature chart just fine. How the HELL are they gonna say those LEDs are 3000k when it's clearly listed in the title as "WHITE" ?

I just simply wanted to know if its PURE WHITE or White w/ tint of blue and they couldn't even answer that.

Hmm....

Can someone help me out?

I currently have these for my license plate lights - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...22412-1-2.html

I'm thinking about purchasing these "Flank Angled style" LEDs to replace my license plate lights - http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...64848-1-2.html

I want to purchase this by the end of tonight, before the sale ends.

Does anyone know if there will be a brightness difference between the two?

Whoa! shit, your not lying.

I just went out to my car in the pitch dark and turned on my license plate lights and the current 360 style 5-LED 5k whites I have DO NOT even light up the top portion of my bumper like yours...

I just saw your other picture in the other v-led thread

Those are so bright, not only does it light up the top portion of the bumper but also the floor! It really does look like cold cathodes... I like how it's so bright it makes the license plate kinda hard to read lol.

More for your eyes - that last pic was really bad at showing how much it shines on the ground.

Your fast replies really helped out alot. Sale is going to end tonight, and I was afraid I wasn't going to get any responses until tomorrow.

I just bought LEDs for my rear license plate. Now, I tried to slide the transparent covers blocking the bulbs but they wouldn't come out.

Remove the trunk liner to install them from inside the trunk.

so i got my replacement 24 LED panel for my dome light from the ebay seller. installed it and everything went fine. no sparks or melted plastic this time but the fuse burned out again after 1 day. is this a common occurrence?

i know the whole speech about the cheap LED's from ebay and you get what you pay for but i don't think its worth it for me to spend $80 to replace my interior lights. i'm about to give up on this entirely. sucks because i thought the LED's made the interior look awesome at night.
