Nokya hyper yellow H8 (35/55w)

Installed them yesterday and as I touch the foglight glass, it literally burned my fingers. Man they are hot, so I got scared and turn my fogs off. For those of you who have had it for months, does it melt the foglight housing?

I bought it off ebay.

Also, which is more yellow, the 2500k color or 3000k color? Which is better, 2500k or 3000k?

are you using the stage 1 bulbs or stage 2 bulbs? stage 1 runs at 35w and stage 2 runs at 55w. stage 2 might run a bit hotter.

I went with a different approach allowing me to keep my stock bulbs. Check out this thread:

the bad thing about your approach is that it hinders the fog's degree of aiming. there is like a millimeter gap between the fog lens and the black bezel so that the lens can tilt up and down. When I adjusted the fogs, the upper part of the fog lens was touching the black bezel so there will be no way a plexi yellow glass sheet can fit in it....

Can anyone chime me in as why it says 35/55w ? does it mean it will work as 35 watts or 55 watts?

Hey soo do all aftermarket bulbs damage the housing or anything related to the foglights in general?? I am trying to change my stocks and make them the same color as my headlights which are stock also... I usually always have my fogs on with my headlights... Is that going to be a problem??
