Noise cancellation in HFL??

Does anyone know if there's noise cancellation built into the handsfreelink? Many people have told me they cannot hear the background road noise.

I know there is some kind of a noise cancellation so that whatever is played on the speakers do not revebrate into the microphone. I have tried to let the other person listen to a recording on the phone and they couldn't hear it even though i had it on full volume on the front speakers

Wait a minute! Everytime I call someone, my radio completely mutes. Is this right?

The people I've talked to through HFL have said they couldn't tell I was in my car. Pretty impressive if you ask me...I have to keep myself from shouting at the mics though. Normal speaking voice is plenty loud enough.
