Nope. It's typical for manual transmissions not to have dipsticks (among most makes).

just add fluid in until it pours out of the hole.

I hope that's a joke.

2.3 quart is what you need on a fluid change.

Well there is an inspection plug but I would just go with the 2.3qts back in and that's that

Like I said somewhere else, because we all love ripping on the new guy, even though he's not entirely wrong:

If you pour 2 qts and it starts overflowing, will you notice if you don't know how much you're pouring?

Well it's actually not completely wrong -

See how the fill plug faces horizontal, not vertical like most oil drain/fill holes? You're supposed to fill the transmission up until it's just below that fill plug. This usually requires the use of some kind of pump/funnel, like so:

These pics are of a BMW and Jeep Wrangler. My quick Googling didn't find anything specifically related to an Acura 6MT. Just pointing out yoitskenn's post isn't exactly wrong or ridiculous.

Unless you're a seasoned mechanic, I'd lay off. It's very common in manual transmissions to simply fill until it overflows. As you may or may not know, the fill is typically on the side of the transmission near the bottom and the design is that it cannot be overfilled, as it will start running back out. It's not oil that's getting pumped around the engine and cylinders, it's gear lube, period. Engine lubricant is filled from the top, so obviously very easy to overfill. Don't rip on someone unless YOU'RE an expert in that field yourself.

It can be overfilled. On the TL, after draining and the drain plug is installed, the correct method is to remove the fill bolt and the oil check bolt, then fill the fluid in the oil fill hole until it runs out the oil check oil. Once it stops dripping, install the oil filler plug and oil check bolt.

Not TL but when our RX7 Turbo was new, I had the dealership install RedLine fluid and they were to remove the filler plug and inspection plug, then fill through fill hole until fluid runs out inspection hole (located lower on the tail section), then button it up. They filled it until it ran out of the fill hole, overfilling the trans. Driving the car home, I had a roster tail out the back of the car from the trans fluid hitting the hot exhaust as the fluid was forced out the rear trans seal. Got the car home and drained out the extra fluid.
