No rear folding seats??
Folks - I am in the market for an '08 TL, and took one for a spin last weekend. While I really car, one feature that I somewhat missed was not having the option to do 60/40 split fold-down rear bench seat...I use this feature every now and then in my current car, and wonder why Acura doesn't provide this? I believe the Accord has it.....![Roll Eyes](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Any inputs?
Cheers, M

I am also part of the 25% of people that would actually use it if the car had it. The problem is most owners wouldn't really care. The real reason the Accord has it but the TL doesn't is not because of road noise.
They compromised the fold-down seat because of handling. They brag and tout the use of triangular cross-braces behind the seat that aid handling and structural integrity. I've seen these "braces" and I thought to myself.......uh, OK if you say so Acura! Engineers know more than me but I can't see how these make a difference. I'd rather have the fold-down as well. I know you'll say well what about the German cars with fold-down seats.....well I guess those cars handle so well because of other components that they don't need the bracing and can have a fold-down seat.
