So last night I go to pick my sister (16) from Roselle lanes (dance crew's rent it and throw parties cuz it's going bankrupt) so at 1am there are like 100 "gangsta's" outside chilling, waiting for rides etc... 2 cops are posted RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. what a surprise, a fight breaks out (sister is safely inside doing god knows what). next thing I know people are getting slammed on my TL's side. I get out and start screaming (at the kid's & cop's who are still posted) so when nothing happened I crossed my arms and charged. I knocked about 4 of them off, backed up dropped my shoulder and went for round 2. Just then someone grabbed me from behind and I swung,guess what? it was a cop. next thing I know I'm face down, getting screamed at by the same dude that just sat there when the fight broke out. He had backup so now he's tough. Two of the cop's that came later were good friends and listened to my story.Long story short,went to the station, no charges but got two dent's(not that bad but regardless they weren't there before) on the rear quarter that even my cop friend's say I pretty much gotta eat. gonna wait to see what the report says cuz some of the kids on my car got locked up.

 

Damn that sucks dude.....

 

If what you say is true, be happy as fuck you didn't get charged with assault and battery on a peace officer. Freedom>some dents.

Damn dude that sucks, I'd be extremely pissed. Honestly I would of let what was happening happen and then wait after all the juveniles where in custody to talk to the police officers and relay to them the damages to your car. Also you can't be charged with both assault and battery would be one or the other and then the three different degrees of assault or battery depending on what the police dept recongizes. Also you are lucky they didn't charge you with interfering with a police/law enforcement on going investigation while you where trying to fight the guys off your car.

 

sucks, take some pics and post up so we can see how badly the damage is. And you can bring the car down to my father's shop and ill get you a good price to get them out.

 

Sory to hear that man...always sux to have your car ruined over something so stupid.... I'm with ecliptics.. I would have just moved my car across the street man.. I would never park my car next to 100 people standing around...just in case some shiet happens.

Nothings gonna come of the report. It will cost more for you to go to the people who caused the damage, because it is Hearsay. Possibility of PDR?

Trust me man, it's possible. Happened to me a while back. It was basically the same thing, I swung at a cop not knowing it was a cop.

good shit bro i would've done the same espically if someone grabbed me a valet parker once scrated up the side of my car n tried passin it off like it wasnt there, he was hoping i wood just get in and drive off but i didnt and i think if my girl wasnt there to stop me i would have deff gotten arrested that night for beating the shit out of him.....i jst called the cops n filed a report.. and the next day the manager reviewed the tapes and clearly saw the valet parker tryin to buff out the scratches DEEEPPP SCRATCHES THAT YOU CANT EVEN BUFF LOL

The rear quarters are crap. I've got a crease in mine where my kid turned quickly to run and ran into it. Nothing major but it did leave a slight crease.

You should tell your parents not to let your 16 year old sister stay out that late partying. My sister wasn't allow to go dancing/partying at ALL (I was, but my parents like all eastern europeans have different standards for sons than for daughters).

 

But really, when you saw this start to boil over shouldn't your FIRST action had been to hop right into your car and move it to protect it? You can't control a bunch of heated people all over the place by yourself even if they were just a bunch of teenie-boppers. I don't see how the fly swatting would have been effective. My defenseless car would have been the priority and I would move it even if I had to bump into a few of them!

 

@ rhino and I charged because the were 16 and didn't want a charge (18 and over get closed fists) to clarify a bit I didn't swing for the fence on the cop I just didn't know who grabbed me and like shook him off by throwing my arm out. once I realized it was a cop I didn't fight at all. the report is useless, basically said no one can prove who damaged my car,and they let everyone go. after further inspection I have 4 little dents and my rear bumper is abit offline. I'll get some pic's up asap

edit: I was boxed in front by a car and people were in the rear so leaving wasn't an option.Just glad my sis inside and not hurt...
