Yeah, I can't wait... just a little disappointed that the phone isn't a flip, and that I'll have to wait until the end of the year for it...

There is still rumors that the i930 MIGHT have bluetooth... keeping my fingers crossed...

where did u hear this rumor, coz in howardforums.com that rumor is put to rest and the i930 will not have BT

if they add BT to the i930 it would be the best phone out IMO coz it also has an SD slot which maybe possible to add WI-FI technology where you can do VOIP

I am just happy to hear that there is a buzz about bluetooth technology on Nextel units. I really love the PTT feature, and I am "married" to Nextel due to the office requirements. I do, however want to take advantage of my car's capabilities...

that's the problem, he works for nextel. out of all the nextel employees i asked about the new phones (sales rep and district sales manager) only one had the slighest clue on what i was talking about. not to rag on your friend but nextel does not inform their sales associates until a couple of weeks of release. usually 2 weeks before release.

No problem... that's what we're here for.

To get our hopes up, just to have someone else shoot'em down.

I'm happy with Nextel and even happier to hear the prospects of Bluetooth from them.

Ancient Nextel Technology

I use Nextel. The service is OK, but the phones are years behind other companies' cell phones. The Sony Erickson T68i that I bought a year and a half ago (when I used Cingular) had Bluetooth. It synched with my PowerBook and with a Jabra Bluetooth headset. If it weren't for Nextel's walkie-talkie service, they would never survive with their outdated phone. Well, if I can upgrade before the 1st of next year, it won't be too bad.

Maybe integrating it with the horn? How often does anyone really use that function?

I would prefer it if the PTT feature simply worked like a regular phone using handsfree. PTT is very handy within our company, but I don't need to simulate it using buttons on the steering wheel while I am driving.
