Any sign-on name that even rhymes or looks like EddieXO or whatever his name was gives me the hibbie-jeebies.

Congrats! Not to rain on your parade, but you shouldn't have gotten the SSM. Great car, but the silver is ugly. Enjoy! Sorry about the color though.

The SSM should know its place in society. Back of the bus for you, SSM.

When clean, the Anthracite has a great shiny metallic flake finish that looks great. There is no doubt that a Silver car looks brighter and cleaner as it hides the dust and is (obviously) just a brighter color. That's not the issue.

The issue is that there are too too many Silver cars on the road. In 1997 the Silver car was hot. Led by the E Class Benz, that Euro Silver was slippery smooth and very tasteful. Now seven years later, it's overdone. Cooked. During my morning commute, out of every 100 cars I see, at least 80 of them are Silver. Yawn.

Parking an SSM next to an Anthracite TL, I would agree that I too would see the Silver as making my car look a bit 'dull'. If all you did was park at your Acura dealer, the SSM would rule.

Ah, but you won't be parking next to that many Anthracite TL's now will you? Nope. You WILL be parking next to thousands upon thousands of Silver Camry's, Silver Neon's, Silver Focus', Silver Odyssey's, Silver F150's, Silver Malibu's. Your car will look just as 'dull' as they do on your trip to WalMart as a result. Yawn.
