Hello Comrades My name is John Soto and i have just purchased a 2004 Acura TL Auto. I Would like to add some MOds to my car especially a TYPE S Body to it and some nice lights and heads up with advice and where to order i would highly appreciate it i am located in NY BTW Thanks Guys.

 

welcome to the Zine, congratz on the car im sure you will love it, did u get it with nav?? when u say type s body, i think u mean the side skirts and the bumpers?? ... because other than that the body of the 04 and the type s are the same i believe ... or maybe you mean aspec kit? which is probably a cheaper way to go then having to buy all new stuff and getting it painted. for tail lights i would say order the type s lights off of ebay, and clear ur headlights ... congratz on the car again

 

Thanks Chief appreciate it..Its my first car and no it has no Navi. I was thinking about leaving the color i have its a Desert Mist and its a very nice neck turner at night. Sorry if this sounds dumb but whats the difference between a Aspec kit and the type 2 Side skirts and bumper? i have seen alot of amazing looking TLs on this site so i would like to join the ranks lol

 

its mainly the lip. if you search the forum for pictures, you can see a difference in the bottom of the bumpers between the Type-S and the base.

but if you want performance mods, look at my sig or browse the site a little and all your questions will be answered.

Hey John...I just got the same desert mist color May 29. Mines an 04 with nav, I already got my sound system started, thinking of which color rims that'll be sick with the color. Im loving the car, hope you are too
