New TL Owner
I just purchased a 2005 Anthracite Metallic TL privately and i love it. It is a 6 speed and has navi. The odometer has 34k and I got it for $17.5. This vehicle drives great. It has definitely met my expectations. Just wanted to introduce myself as a new TL owner.

Welcome! Post pics when you can! Any plans for the car?

I wanted to keep it simple if anything. I want to get some black mesh wheels. The only ones I've seen so far that I like are the MMR GT-1 wheels. I just wanted 18's. Type-S taillights and an A-spec kit but it will take me a while to save up for that stuff if I ever get to it. I was thinking about the A-spec suspension but i don't want to worry about angling my car over any bumps. Those would probably be all the mods if anything.

I don't think you will have to worry about angling over speed bumps with the aspec suspension.

I'm located in Orange County in So Cal. I'll post pics when I get a chance. I had a lowered Civic SI previously so that's why I'm tired of angling but if you say it won't matter than i may consider these springs afterall. too bad I can't get everything as a package deal.

Any maitanence sugestions for the new TL owner
Just purchased 06 Acura TL with 72k miles. Dark blue exterior and light interior with a navi. Paid $15,500 plus $500 auction fee in PA, was hopping to pay less or buy with less mileage but the 06 TL with 45k miles were sold for $18k+. So far I'm very happy with my purchase, however do feel that the handling feels a little too stiff while making turns at low speeds and while going over bumpy road at low speed the steering wheels jerks left to right much more than on my previous car (99 inifiniti i30). Any maintenance suggestions from you would be much appreciated.

I'm just curious...what were the driving factors behind buying an 05-06 TL rather than the 07-08? The mileage for the one you bought is definitely low, though...congrats!
I'm currently in the market for 07-08 Type-S 6spd.

Congrats on the good deal Mr. 2005! I just got my 06 back in May and I love it too. 6spd, Nav, black on black, the works. It's a shame I'm just now getting around to get involved in this forum.
I do have a question: How do I set my audio display to show the artist and song that's currently playing on the system? That option is available, right?
Thanks everyone!
