Not sure the brand name. Just go to a racing shop nearby, and they should have something.
This particular can was covered in Japanese (for the genuine JDM look) and had a "bullet" shaped lid (rounded as opposed to flat)...the lid was the same color as the tint spray, a sort of darker gray color.
If you do it yourself, keep in mind that all that was sprayed was the amber lens. They removed that piece and put various coats of tint spray over it.
Good luck!! I have attached the link for do it yourself instructions for headlight clearing which might help a bit. Maybe someone else has a better set of instructions, but check these out... http://www.abunchofcars.com/diy_page...t_clearing.htm

I was using the host provided by cTLgo, but it appears that the bandwidth was exceeded....someone help out again?? The pics that apply are at photos.yahoo.com/ucsbchris2001 I think all the pics related to the smoked taillights should be at the end of the little photo album

Chrome strips look pretty cool....
Casper, I mentioned trying new Piia bulbs to make the corners brighter. Tried it out but it didn't work...the corners were not any brighter, and they looked more yellow than amber. Back to the drawing board...

Hey Vtec... i think this would look nice if you do the rear also and the rear sidemarkers. i am thinking of buying this spray and practice on a glass. then cover up my trunk and do it since i got Anthracite i think it will go with the car..
Now one question.. is this anyhow removable? i mean as if what if i mess up and look darker in some places than others.. or just make sure to have an even movement flow going...? i think i wll need to really practice..

The tint spray is made to be permanant, so theoretically, you would not be able to remove it once it is sprayed. Also, I would be a little concerned spraying this stuff on the outside of a lens...since they took apart my lights, and sprayed inside the headlight assembly, normal scratches, flaking and fading are much less of a concern that if the tint spray was going to be exposed to the eliments. I would consider having a professional do the work to ensure that a durable, high quality product is used.
Best of luck.

Definately PM me before you come out here...I work just a couple of blocks from this place, so we could meet up.
Anyhow, I dropped the car off right after they opened (around 10:30) and they were nto ready until 545. This is a lot longer than they promised, but it was a day of really heavy rain, so they had to allow more drying time for sealing the lights. Harry claimed that they usually only take 2 & 1/2 to 3 hours to complete this job given ideal weather conditions.
